George’s Landscaping Inc. is dedicated to the design, building, and maintenance of landscape. One of Illinois leading landscape construction contractors, GLI has proven their skills and creativity with the completion of several municipal playgrounds and park districts from Schaumburg to Kankakee. Starting in 1984 George’s Landscaping Inc. focused on landscape maintenance for residential clients. Each year brought growth to the business and now there are 217 lawn maintenance clients and three experienced crews to keep our client’s landscaping healthy and beautiful. In 1995 the company further expanded adding commercial clients and a snow removal division.
In 2000, George’s Landscaping changed their name to GLI to encourage public realization of the company’s growth and varied divisions.
GLI further developed as a specialized contractor establishing a commercial division. Whether GLI is the general contractor or a subcontractor, clients are confident in their reliability, skill, and competitive pricing. Below is an outline of our services to give you an understanding of GLI’s capacity of work.
GLI has 4 lawn maintenance crews, 5 landscape construction crews, heavy equipment operators, union brick layers, an on-premise mechanic shop with 1 full time and two part time mechanics, a design staff, three field job supervisors, and a fully staffed office. A fleet of service trucks, 8 snow removal and salt trucks, backhoes, dozers, loaders to accommodate all work equipment.
